I spy with my little triangle eye
Maybe a current mini trend sweeping the design industries. Those 3 sided polygon wonders are making a big appearance.

what has triangles got to do with anything?
it's simply a design observation. I think taking notes of current design trends will help to build up creative knowledge of what's out there, what competitors are doing which can influence art direction decisions ad concepts of my own.
