An Ogivly Christmas

Nice little iphone app from Ogilvy. It creates snow over images so everyone can have a white christmas. Simple and sweet.

Hey, how are you getting on with your christmas promo? It's a toughie.

I voted none to the poll. It sounds obvious but I want to work in a place that doesn't define those categories in that sense. I don't think it's as black and white as the options you put in my opinion.

Agencies certainly have a 'title' - AKQA being digital - but if you asked them, I bet they'd tell you they are more than just a digital agency,

From my point of view there's a mass overlap in what companies are doing ATL does digital and DM - Digital does ATL. For me - it's more where do you want to work? not in what type... Oops I seemed to have rambled...sorry.

Hello

Well after much anticipation, blood sweat and tears, unfortunately time has ran out and the agency opted for just a traditional card, of course with a little twist. So all our big thinking went away in the winter breeze.

As for titles, I certainly agree agencies are becoming increasingly integrated and offering more and more. However from a junior role and prospective creatives i do believe that knowing what type of agency you want to aim for and produce work for should be known and skills for this area should be evident in your portfolio.

Although saying that and completely contradicting myself maybe a portfolio geared at a certain agency would flop and perhaps a portfolio packed with strong ideas on what ever format on what ever subject will say more about your thinking and what you can offer.

I do believe however it must get to a point in your career that once you've chosen a path in advertising that you will find it hard to leap to another side?
